Infant Toddler Class
This is a brand new Professional Development Opportunity that will be offered both in Aberdeen, Eagle Butte, and Redfield.
Are you looking for a way to rejuvenate yourself as an Infant/Toddler caregiver?  Are you a new provider looking for the nuts and bolts of Infants and Toddlers?  If so, we have just what you have been looking for.  We are excited to announce the new Baby Human Infant/Toddler train they do.  ing.  Imagine you're suddenly thrust into a world where you can't speak, can barely move, and must unravel the meaning behind a maze of sounds and sights in order to survive.  This is the world of the baby.  For the first time, experience the first two years of a child's life just as they do.  This groundbreaking program reveals what only the little ones know.  What is their most  profound need?  How do they really see their parents and caregivers?  What does it feel like to struggle to walk or learn or speak?  It's an incredible journey each of us has taken-- but none of us remember.  Get a carpet-and-crib eye view of the baby's world as they take their first humorous, death-defying, wondrous steps into life.  Infant/Toddler caregivers will also gain an understanding of how seeing the world through the babies eyes changes the way one should plan and prepare to provide the best learning experience for babies and toddlers.
1 CEU will be offered for this 4 part series.

Text Box: Early Learning Guidelines Professional Development
 Come see what they are all about!!
Early Childhood Partners at Presentation College will be offering “Early Learning Guidelines” The Core of this document is a set of guidelines for what preschool children should know, understand, and be able to do in the areas of literacy, mathematics, social –emotional development, and the arts.  Each standard area includes ideas on how to set up the environment as well as teaching suggestions that can be used by all who work with young children.  Class will be held at Early Childhood Partners, Feb. 21st and 28th from 8:30-4:30. Cost: $30 Receive 15 training hours.  1.5 CEU's are available for an additional $20 .

Registration is required by the deadline for all classes. Classes will be cancelled if there are not enough participants. Video conferencing classes are scheduled well in advance due to the need to secure sites/schools, and registration deadlines for these classes are non-negotiable. Due to budget limitations many of our classes will be offered through video conferencing or at limited locations. Review the Professional Development Calendar and plan ahead for the classes you would like to attend. Remember, meeting registration deadlines is key to ensuring that the class will be held. If you are registered for a class and cannot attend, please extend a courtesy call to cancel. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us meet your professional development needs.
